I worked with Drexel University Music Industry Program faculty along with The Philadelphia and Drexel University Chapters of Women In Music to develop a special evening of programming at the ‘ELECTRIFIED: 50 Years of Electric Factory’ exhibition. The planning of this programming was an effort of many months and required coordination of space reservations, security, catering, and support for the organizations involved, to be sure their needs were met along the way. The event was well received with over 100 students and music industry professionals in attendance.

The event kicked off with a panel featuring local industry leaders giving advice for breaking into Philadelphia’s live music scene. Following the panel, a networking mixer provided opportunity for attendees to meet with professionals from various sectors of the music industry to make connections. This event provided a valuable one-on-one opportunity for aspiring students to speak with industry professionals.
